Earth Summit will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 4-6 June, 2012. There will be three Preparatory Meetings for the Summit, each lasting 2 days. The first two preparatory meetings for the Summit, PrepCom1 and PrepCom2, have already taken place, from 17-19 May 2010 and 7-8 March 2011 respectively, at the UN Headquarters in New York. The third and final Preparatory Meeting will take place in Brazil prior to the Summit itself (get more information here). | |
